In Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate (Taliban government) not only protects human rights, but also safeguards the rights of animals, he said, while addressing a meeting to solve a major tribal conflict in Ghor province.
The Islamic Emirate official described the resolution of disputes between the country’s tribes as one of the government’s main responsibilities and priorities.
The long-standing conflict over agricultural land between the Sardar Khial and Taimani tribes in Ghor province, which left nearly 100 victims, was arranged through the mediation of the Ministry of Border and Ethnic Affairs.
The Ministry stated that more than 2,200 tribal disputes have been solved in the country over the past three years, most of them in Nangarhar, Nuristan, Badghis, Jawzjan provinces and the southeastern and northern territories of the country.
