According to the Informe Pastrán bulletin, the policies for next year’s budget presented by the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, will continue with free education and public health.
In addition, the proposal is also focused on maintaining subsidies for urban transportation, electric energy, drinking water, and social housing, among other projects with an impact on the Nicaraguan population.
The publication pointed out that the fiscal policy will continue to guarantee the resources for the fulfillment of the economic and social development objectives established in the governmental plans of this Central American nation.
In this way, the financing of the social policy aimed at fighting poverty and inequality will continue, in order to improve the welfare and living conditions of the population.
The information pointed that funding will continue to guarantee investment on health, education and social protection will prevail, in order to provide better quality services and increase the coverage of beneficiaries.
Within a framework of efficiency and rational spending, the country plans to continue providing resources to improve the productivity and competitiveness of the different value chains, thus ensuring the financing of socio-productive programs linked to the fight against poverty.
