The officer stated this Tuesday at a press conference that the objective of the US armed forces is to develop more dangerous agents for the population of Slavic origin.

“We have repeatedly noted that Washington has a significant interest in obtaining biological materials from citizens of Russia, Ukraine and other post-Soviet states, and Moscow has previously published information confirming these facts,” Kirillov emphasized.

“Under the umbrella of the UP-8 project alone, blood samples were taken from four thousand Ukrainian soldiers. Dangerous pathogens and their vectors were also gathered (more than 10 thousand samples),” the General said.

Kirillov noted that the blood and tissue samples were transported directly from the Ukrainian Public Health Center to Western research laboratories linked to the Pentagon without resorting to short-lived or intermediary companies, and were subsequently used “in military and biological research, including in selecting the most dangerous biological agents for the population of a given region”.
