Moscow’s ambassador here, Evgeny Terekhin, heading the foreign group, commented that he gained valuable insight into the significant amount of work done by Addis Ababa in AI implementation for research, development and deployment in a short period of time.

Terekhin believed that such growth is due to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s commitment to use technological advances for development, the local institute revealed on its social network X account.

He expressed Russia’s keen interest in partnering with Ethiopia to assist national efforts to advance ongoing initiatives, starting with the exchange of experiences.
