The Russian leader recalled in his message that both countries coordinate efforts to solve urgent issues in the regional agenda.

Putin highlighted the friendly nature of the relations between Moscow and Islamabad, and expressed his trust that constructive relations between both countries will continue developing successfully to the benefit of their peoples for the sake of guaranteeing international security and stability.

In July, Presidents Putin and Sharif held a friendly meeting outside the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
