The organizers decided to change the Carpa Trompoloco (Trompoloco Tent), the festival’s usual venue, to one of the Teatro Nacional’s areas so that more people could attend.
Milagros Luis Alonso, director of the National Circus of Cuba, made that remark considering the audience’s proximity, capacity, and comfort.
Alonso told reporters that the performances of jugglers, acrobats, balancing, puppets, and magicians, among others, will be part of this edition, which is not competitive.
Circuba International was first held in 1981 and is considered the oldest event in the Americas, and the third globally.
