According to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, during the event the opportunities and risks identified in the country will be explored, to build a consensus position to be disclosed at the Latin American and Caribbean Ministerial Summit on AI to be held on August 8 and 9, also in Cartagena.

The meeting will focus on three fundamental pillars, the first of which is the development of infrastructure to identify and plan improvements to support the growth and development of AI in the nation.

There will also be a debate on human resources, which will seek to create strategies for the formation and retention of talent specialized in AI, promoting educational and training programs and the third axis will focus on the discussion of plans to position Colombia as an attractive destination for investment and development of technologies.

The National Summit will be attended by experts and authorities, including ministers, executive directors, advisors, and professors.
