In this regard, Borrell called on Benjamin Netanyahu’s government to avoid actions that worsen the living conditions of Gaza’s civilian population and to comply with its obligations under international law.

Further on, the text reiterates the call for an immediate ceasefire to end the difficult situation of Gaza’s civilian population, including also the hostages taken by Hamas.
