So far, we have received a worldwide palette of confirmations about the official participation of ministers and deputy ministers, from countries like China and Cuba, as well as Sri Lanka and close neighbors like Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Transdniester, the minister told TASS news agency.

Intensified talks with African countries will also be reflected at the 2024 forum.

We are expecting the ministers of Culture of Sudan, Djibouti, Guinea, Mali and Zimbabwe, Liubimova added.

She recalled that in 2023, the forum was attended by 50 foreign official delegations, 29 of them at the level of ministers. Taking into account foreign representatives, 73 countries were represented.

This year, we are concentrated on these indicators and together with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs we are working hard to invite participants.

This year’s forum will be the tenth, a kind of anniversary. This fact attracts the attention of our foreign colleagues, both those who have already worked with us in St. Petersburg in previous years and those who want to attend for the first time at the main international cultural event in Russia, she added.
