The IRGC expressed its condolences to the heroic people of Palestine and the fighters of the Resistance Front, as well as Iran, for this tragedy, and emphasized that the cause and dimensions of this incident are being investigated.
The political leader of Hamas was paying a visit to Tehran to participate in the swearing in of Iranian President Masud Pezeshkian.
During his stay, Haniyeh held a meeting with the leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei, and with the secretary general of the Islamic Jihad movement, Ziyad al-Nakhaleh.
The head of Hamas spoke with President Pezeshkian, whom he informed about the latest political and field events related to the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
Three of the Palestinian leader’s children and several grandchildren were killed in April as a result of an Israeli attack on the vehicle in which they were traveling to the Al-Shati refugee camp.

Asesinan a jefe político de Hamas en un atentado en Irán
Teherán, 31 jul (Prensa Latina) El jefe del Buró Político del movimiento palestino Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, murió en un ataque contra su residencia en Irán, informó el Cuerpo de Guardianes de la Revolución Islámica (CGRI).
El CGRI expresó sus condolencias al pueblo heroico de Palestina y los combatientes del frente de la Resistencia, así como a Irán, por esta tragedia, y enfatizó que la causa y las dimensiones de este incidente están siendo investigadas.
El dirigente político de Hamas realizó una visita a Teherán para participar en la investidura del presidente iraní, Masud Pezeshkian. Durante su estancia, Haniyeh sostuvo un encuentro con el líder de la Revolución y de la República Islámica, Ali Khamenei, junto al secretario general del movimiento Yihad Islámica, Ziyad al-Nakhaleh.
El jefe de Hamas dialogó con el mandatario Pezeshkian, a quien informó sobre los últimos acontecimientos políticos y de campo relacionados con la agresión contra la Franja de Gaza.
Antes, en abril tres de los hijos y varios nietos del líder palestino resultaron asesinados como consecuencia de un ataque israelí contra el vehículo en el que viajaban hacia el campamento de refugiados de Al-Shati.
