During the event, members of the socialist party Die Linke took the floor, such as Gesine Lötzsch, who emphasized the relevance of solidarity with Cuba.

Besides Cuban friendship organizations and leftist political groups, there were also activists in favor of the Palestinian cause.

They also discussed the work of the Cuba Travel Brigades of the socialist youth organizations.

In a round of talks, the positive experiences were highlighted.
