I hope that we will be able to meet with you before the end of the year and substantially discuss the state of implementation of our agreements, Lukashenko said in his message released on Monday.
The president stressed that Venezuelans supported the course towards the creation of ‘a contemporary and independent state, in which the people can determine their own destiny independently.’
In the Belarusian leader’s opinion, the Venezuelan Government managed to start ‘a progressive economic recovery’ and improve the people’s standard of living under difficult conditions.
“Venezuela’s firm official position is clearly heard on all international platforms,” he stressed.
According to Lukashenko, Venezuela will continue to strengthen its sovereignty and develop itself in many spheres under Maduro’s presidency.
The Belarusian president wished Maduro good health and energy to implement all his plans and create a strong and prosperous Venezuela.
Maduro was reelected president of Venezuela with 51.2 percent of the votes, while his closest contender, Edmundo Gonzalez, won 44.2 percent.
