La Paz, Jul 28 (Prensa Latina) The Venezuelan Ambassador to Bolivia César Trompiz, described on Sunday as “impeccable” the progress of the voting process in the polling station set up at the diplomatic headquarters as part of the presidential elections in his country.

“All the guarantees of the National Electoral Council (CNE) are being complied with, which were enabled in a timely manner, and so far everything is going well,” he assured in statements to Prensa Latina. The diplomat indicated that in Venezuela over 21 million citizens are summoned to the polling stations, and since the morning a great affluence has been observed.

He recalled that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro voted in the early hours of the morning and during the rest of the day the candidates of the different coalitions also exercised their right to vote.

According to the CNE, Trompiz explained, the total number of polling stations was installed, with no major novelties.

In relation to the progress of this process in Bolivia, he indicated that the polling station was installed and there is a permanent presence of witnesses from the opposition Democratic Unity and the Patriotic Pole, as well as the voting centers’ members.

“153 voters were enabled and all conditions were created for them to attend from 06:00 to 18:00 Bolivian time; if necessary due to the presence of any voter in line, the day can be extended,” the diplomat commented.
