The initiative is implemented in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates and will also impart training on artificial intelligence and related digitization skills.
Ahmed emphasized that the African country has hopes through a young, forward-thinking population and, in that regard, called for encouraging young people to enroll in the program, acquire skills and obtain international certification.
He called to take this opportunity to create a movement to train five million Ethiopian coders in the next three years.
In his view, the latter, in addition to creating innovative local solutions, will become a beacon of hope for the continent.
“My greatest thanks go to the UAE government for its partnership in this large-scale capacity building project,” he stressed.
