“The most significant thing for us is our relations with China, and we start from the general context of our bilateral relations, the atmosphere of strategic partnership with the People’s Republic of China,” the spokesman told reporters this Monday.
Peskov also stressed that the atmosphere of constructive relations between the leaders of the two states is essential to developing fruitful Russian-Chinese relations in all spheres of life.
He also noted that the intention is to use the time “to develop our relations in all spheres.”
Peskov’s remarks came in response to journalists’ question whether Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba’s visit to China could affect the state of Russian-Chinese relations.
