The radical offensive began with bombardments with dozens of rockets and projectiles against civilian communities in the region of the Al-Ghaab plain, and then, dozens of suicide extremists tried to advance along the front line, where violent clashes with the regulars took place.
The army carried out heavy artillery shelling against the supply lines of the attacking extremists and the areas from where the raid began.
The militaries operating on the Al-Hakoura front in the same region also ambushed a terrorist group, eliminated all its members and confiscated their weapons.
Last Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense of this Arab nation reported that the military units operating on the southern front of the northern province of Idlib, destroyed weapons, ammunition and war vehicles of the radical groups.
Several irregulars were neutralized while the troops managed to foil a terrorist attack with several kamikaze drones and were able to shoot them down and destroy them.
Syria faces a war imposed since 2011 and although its army, with the support of its allies from Russia and Iran, liberated most of the national territory from the radicals, some attacks occur that Damascus attributes to groups supported from abroad to continue destabilizing the country.
