With a capacity for nearly 1,000 people, the cultural center promoted the show, guaranteeing that the audience would enjoy tonight a fusion of trova with a wide range of rhythms.
It also highlighted Buena Fe’s innovative musical proposal, which defies the stereotypes of the sound panorama by fusing trova influences with a variety of rhythms, including rock, pop, guaracha, reggae, and flamenco.
Buena Fe was founded in 1999 as a duo in the eastern Cuban province of Guantanamo. Its director Israel Rojas, who also composes all songs, is the leading voice, while Yoel Martinez is in charge of the acoustic guitar and the second voice.
Its first album “Dejame Entrar” (Let Me In) was released in 2001. It marked the beginning of its recording career, adopting the band format since then.
