On the other hand, the Minister of Government, Eduardo del Castillo, confirmed that several political authorities have already provided the corresponding testimony, including himself, and stressed that other vice ministers will be summoned in the following week because they experienced what happened in person. Del Castillo commented that he hopes that this year a sentence will be handed down against those responsible, taking into account all the evidence collected.

Franklin Alborta, the prosecutor in this case, stated that the criminal files of 34 persons, including military personnel and civilians, are being investigated.
