Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez also used the same social platform to join the tribute to Mandela on his 106th birthday, which is also being commemorated on this day. The diplomat stated, “his work will continue to be an example for our peoples.”
Rodriguez described the historic South African leader as “an example of resistance against apartheid” and recalled Mandela’s unconditional friendship with Cuba and its Revolution.
