At the center, dedicated to the study and dissemination of the life, work and thought of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, the visitor was briefed about the characteristics of the facility by Director René González Barrios, and toured its exhibition and interactive rooms.
On Tuesday, Golovchenko was received by his Cuban counterpart, Manuel Marrero, at
Havana’s Convention Center, where both leaders confirmed the excellent state of mutual ties.
During his meeting with Golovchenko, Marrero highlighted the potential of economic and trade relations, mainly in sectors like food production, the medical-pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, industry, and banking and finance.
The head of the Belarusian Government noted the cooperation between the two countries and condemned the United States blockade and Cuba’s inclusion on Washingto’s State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT), the Cuban Presidency and Government wrote on their X account.
The visitor also highlighted the excellent political level of bilateral relations between Belarus and Cuba, and assured that they are ready to move forward in all areas with their counterpart in Cuba.
On Tuesday, the two countries signed the Bilateral Economic Agenda for economic-commercial and scientific-technical collaboration, an agreement on customs matters, and two other deals on Mutual Protection of Classified Information and in the field of public health.
Five other joint instruments in the economic and financial area were also initialed, the source added.
