At a virtual meeting held on Wednesday, the ALBA-TCP leaders congratulated the Bolivian Government and people.
The forum’s statement also demanded that Argentine President Javier Milei stop the aggression against Bolivia, and warned about the danger that Constitutional President Luis Arce shortens his term in office.
In addition to Arce, other participants in the forum were Presidents Miguel Diaz-Canel (Cuba) and Nicolas Maduro (Venezuela), as well as Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne, and St. Kitts and Nevis’s Ambassador Norgen Wilson.
“We have decided to reaffirm our commitment to and support for the constitutional and legitimate Government of the president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce Catacora,” the document affirms.
At the meeting, participants rejected the position adopted by Argentine President Javier Milei.
They demanded that Milei “immediately cease the harassment and aggression against the legitimate government of Bolivia, and the insults against other ALBA-TCP countries.
The leaders decided to inform the ALBA-TCP ambassadors around the world to develop an information and dissemination campaign about the truth of what is happening in the Plurinational State of Bolivia and the threats that lie ahead of it.
