CEEC Managing Director Wang Huaiwa highlighted the 1.5-billion-dollar Azad Patan Hydropower Project and the 1.96-billion-dollar Sikhi Canari Hydropower Project as essential ventures related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
According to the source, the Chinese company’s investments are part of a broader CPEC initiative, with ongoing projects worth more than 13 billion dollars.
Several Chinese companies are betting on investments in Pakistan’s energy sector, employing more than 100,000 local workers.
Such projects contribute significantly to Pakistan’s power infrastructure and aim to provide sustainable and affordable solutions, thus reinforcing the long-term partnership between the two nations.
