Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile hits hospital in Kiev, Russia says

Moscow, Jul 9 (Prensa Latina) The impact of a missile from a Nasams anti-aircraft system on the Ojmatdet children's hospital in Kiev is a confirmed fact, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, said on Tuesday.

The official wrote on her Telegram channel that as has happened many times with the Ukrainian air defense system, its missiles deviated from their trajectory and hit residential buildings and social institutions.

It has already been confirmed, including by numerous witnesses, that one of the missiles of the Western anti-aircraft system Nasams hit a building on the territory of the Ojmatdet children’s hospital in Kiev, the diplomat assured.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry immediately accused Russia of deliberately killing children. At the same time, no one mentioned that next to the hit clinic is the Artem plant, and within a walking distance is a complex of Defense Ministry’s buildings and army warehouses, Zakharova added.

And, of course, no one mentioned that the followers of Stepan Bandera deliberately place air defense systems in residential neighborhoods, using civilians as human shields, she pointed out.

On July 8, in response to repeated attempts by the Ukrainian Army to damage enterprises of the Russian industrial sector, the Russian Armed Forces launched a joint guided missile attack on military facilities in Ukraine.

They included the Artem, Antonov and Luch design bureau plants in Kiev; the Dnepr and Yuzhmash enterprises in Dnepropetrovsk; a heavy engineering plant in Kramatorsk; weapons warehouses and Western military equipment at the ArcelorMittal metallurgical plant in Krivoi Rog and other facilities. jg/arm/mem/gf
