In his message, Arce described this forum as one of the most important and strategic regional integration blocs, and emphasized that “united we will face the enormous challenges of our times”.

The state channel Bolivia TV broadcast at 09:45 (Bolivian time) the arrival of the Bolivian president in Asuncion, Paraguay, and the reception with the presence of leaders of the Bolivian community living in that country.

The day before, the Foreign Minister, Celinda Sosa, greeted the “Mercosur family” and affirmed that the participation of the Plurinational State in the bloc will contribute to the economic and social development of the region.

“Allow me to greet, now I can say with great pride, the Mercosur family,” Sosa said at the meeting of foreign ministers of the bloc made up of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay in the port city of Asunción.

Bolivia is attending this 64th Ordinary Meeting of the Council of the Southern Common Market after completing the legal process to become a full member of the bloc.
