“More than 100 businessmen from Brazil are arriving, the invitation has been made at the request of President Luis Arce and Minister Celinda Sosa to the entire Bolivian business sector”, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Élmer Catarina, assured in an interview granted to the state channel Bolivia Tv.
According to the deputy chief of the Bolivian diplomacy, these businessmen will participate on Tuesday in a forum organized by their Bolivian counterparts that will cover different topics with the aim of strengthening the commercial and productive links between Bolivia and Brazil.
Catarina added that “the fact that businessmen interested in seeking a Bolivian product come here means that there is economic certainty in Bolivia”.
She stressed that Bolivia is providing security and reliability to the entire economic sector, as a sign of its integrationist vocation.
She also indicated that Bolivia is proposing an economic diplomacy, “because it is something different for a president to come only to speak in economic terms than for him to come with a whole business mission”.
