The president’s rating dropped from 60 to 52 percent in one and a half month, and returned to the same percentage with which he won the elections in October 2023, according to a study conducted by the Comunicaliza and released on Thursday.
During an interview on local television, Comunicaliza Management Alvaro Marchante stressed that “there is no politician who raises the VAT, who causes blackouts, who announces the elimination of the gasoline subsidy and whose approval does not fall.”
The survey, carried out between June 26 and 28, shows that Noboa’s level of disapproval is 39 percent and the vote intention for him with a view to the 2025 elections went down from 36 to 32 percent.
According to the survey, Ecuador’s biggest challenges continue to be insecurity and the economy.
Another poll, carried out by Maluk Research, highlights that in six months the approval of Noboa’s performance has fell from 56.64 to 33.60 percent.
The report states that 51.37 percent of Ecuadorians rate Noboa’s performance as terrible.
