As part of his side activities in Kazakhstan, the Pakistani Prime Minister also held a tripartite meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Sharif expressed his pleasure at the meeting and said the fraternal ties between the three countries reflect the historical ties and aspirations of their peoples to unite for shared peace and prosperity.
Earlier, the Pakistani head of government exchanged views with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on bilateral relations, regional security and economic cooperation.
He considered that there is a great potential for enhancing trade and investment between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Sharif assured that ties between these two nations are growing steadily and will reach their full potential through shared determination and commitment.
