The Russian head of State noted “with satisfaction” that cooperation is developed on principles of equality, reciprocal interests, respect for diversity of cultures and civilizations, and the search for collegiate solutions to pressing problems in the field of security.
In Putin’s opinion, a comprehensive package of agreements emerging from the Summit “will contribute to strengthening the role and influence of the SCO.”
The Russian leader informed that the final declaration will reflect the alliance’s position on key issues on the regional and global agendas, and will reaffirm the SCO’s commitment to the construction of an equitable and multipolar international order.
According to the president of the Russian Federation, the global order must be based on the prominence of the United Nations, international law and the aspirations of mutually beneficial cooperation among sovereign nations.
