In statements to the CGTN television channel in Spanish on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the Communist Party of China celebrated the day before, Campbell said that it is a relationship of two revolutionary parties based on the principle of mutual respect and solidarity.
“It is a relationship of sharing experiences, exchanging experiences, learning from what the Chinese have advanced and sharing what we have,” Luberto Campbell, who is also Coordinator of the Secretariat for Caribbean Coast Affairs, said.
Referring to the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) that came into force last January, Campbell stressed the need to have the conditions to strengthen this agreement and advocated to ensure more production.
“I think it is very important, and I think that yes, as we develop in that aspect, Nicaragua will also make its miracle,” he said.
He added that China developed according to the Chinese model and Nicaragua will learn from them what it can, but it will develop according to the model of this Central American nation.
On the other hand, he commented that Managua shares one hundred percent the initiatives proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, which are mainly aimed at global development.
In this sense, he argued that this is a bet for peace and humanity to save the planet, since the course of action inherited from colonialism, imperialism and capitalism was to lead the world to destruction.
Nicaragua and China reestablished diplomatic relations in December 2021 and since then both nations advocate strengthening the exchange and cooperation in all fields, especially in trade, transportation, scientific and technical areas.
