In the last hours two new polls, one by Elabe and the other by Franceinfo, ratified the scenario predicted by all the previous ones, regardless of their executor, the dominance of the extreme right in the voting intentions, besieged to a greater or lesser extent by the alliance of socialists, insubordinate, communists and ecologists.
The scenario looks gray for the ruling party, with a sharp fall in the number of deputies and the possibility of a very uncomfortable cohabitation in power, in what should be the first appointment at the polls in France without the prominence of what they call “Macronism”, since the presidency, in 2017, of Emmanuel Macron.
Leaders of the camps leading the polls, such as the main RN figures Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, the top leader of La France Insoumise, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, and the former socialist president François Hollande, affirm that the Macron era is nearing its end, some even evoking – without demanding it yet – the resignation of the mandatary.
