The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Health and Rosatom State Corporation, and the resolutions adopted will be the basis for discussing cooperation within the framework of the BRICS Summit to be held in Kazan.
The forum is part of the implementation of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s order to expand cooperation in nuclear medicine within the group.
According to organizers, about 200 representatives of oncology and therapeutic centers, research organizations, and higher educational institutions of the member countries are expected to participate in the meeting.
The program consists of some 16 sections devoted to developing effective radiopharmaceuticals and specialized equipment, training personnel in specialized fields, and introducing advanced technological solutions in the field of radiopharmaceuticals into medical practice.
