The news agency also reported that these ties were symbolized by the embrace with which Kim Jong-un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, greeted Putin at the airport.

KCNA reported that the citizens warmly greeted Putin along the avenues from the airport to the Kumsusan Guest Palace, where he stayed.
