Arce will attend this forum in Paraguay on July 8 and receive his Brazilian counterpart, Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva, in Santa Cruz 24 hours later. He and Lula will assess the bilateral agenda of integration and trade, Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa stated.
The foreign minister affirmed that “the Brazilian president expects to arrive on July 9. First, they (Arce and Lula) will attend the meeting of MERCOSUR heads of State in Paraguay on July 8 (…).”
Speaking on national television, Sosa stated that Lula’s visit would take place the following day, during which a broad agenda would be discussed.
Brazil is one of Bolivia’s main trade partners. Sosa stated that this meeting could strengthen commercial, economic, and, above all, political relations.
