During the offensive, the units of the North and East battle groups made significant advances in the areas under the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in addition to defeating the enemy units, the military institution said in a statement on its Telegram profile on Sunday.

The Defense Ministry indicated that in the northern direction, the troops and equipment from the 71st Jaeger Brigade and the 125th Ukrainian Territorial Defense Brigade were destroyed in Volchansk and Ternova.

Seven counterattacks by the 36th Marine Brigade and the 13th National Guard Brigade were also rejected.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces losses consisted of up to 350 soldiers, two tanks, three vehicles, one D-30 howitzer, and two Bukovel-AD electronic warfare stations.

The Russian troops, moving westward, also occupied more advantageous positions and defeated the 14th, 63rd, and 116th mechanized brigades, the 117th technical defense brigade, and the 13th National Guard brigade near Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Dronovka, Grigorovka, and Chervona Dibrovy.
