The Front issued a statement rejecting Washington’s project to disarm the Palestinian militias. “Only the Palestinian people have the right to decide the fate of the Strip,” said the PFLP, which defended the right to armed struggle against the Israeli occupation.

The Front also warned Arab, International or Palestinian forces “not to participate in or accept this dangerous American plan,” and accused the White House of trying to impose its project under the pretext of rebuilding Gaza.

“The real objective is to dictate the political and security conditions aimed at disarming our militiamen and subjecting Gaza to foreign control,” the group stressed.

“We will continue to defend our legitimate and inalienable rights, and fight to defeat the aggression against the Gaza Strip and thwart any plan to liquidate the Palestinian cause,” the Front stated.
