Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lin Jian told a press conference that the “China-Pakistan six-item consensus” has been accepted by 100 hundred nations, and more countries are welcome to support it and join.

Lin added that China welcomes and supports all efforts leading to the realization of peace and that its position on the Swiss Peace Conference, which it will not attend, is fair, just and open.

China has also been working with relevant parties, including Switzerland and Ukraine, on the issue. The point of holding the conference is for all parties to maintain close communication and encourage meetings to invite all parties to participate equally and discuss all options fairly, the spokesman stressed.
