The treatment of light as a sign of pictorial modernity in Cuban art’s Turn of the Century period will be the central theme of the exhibition, curated by Delia Lopez Campistrous.

Lopez Campistrous explores a catalog of painters, and the representation of light became an expression of modernity, achieved through filtered light, backlighting, the luminous glow of complete tropical light, and reflections on wet surfaces.
