Minister Iyad Al-Khatib told reporters after opening the event that Syria is keeping up with modern global technologies, despite suffering from the unfair economic siege, demonstrating the Syrian people’s ability to innovate and create in all circumstances.
The exhibition allows public and private companies to meet and learn about the latest scientific developments in the information and communication technologies world, the Minister said.
He spoke of foreign participation and its role in enriching the exhibition and diversifying services.
Alaa Hilal, general director of the exhibition’s organizing group, explained the importance of the event in raising the information culture and improving its dissemination because it contains the latest solutions and their applications.
