Recently, the U.S. State Department stated several individuals who were involved in a case of “Conspiracy to Subvert State Power”. They were sentenced by a Hong Kong Autonomous Region court, and consequently the US announced the implementation of new visa restrictions for Chinese authorities.

The United States has deliberately attacked our “one country, two systems” policy, defamed Hong Kong’s national security law, made false comments about Hong Kong’s democracy and freedoms, interfered in Hong Kong’s judiciary, and imposed arbitrary visa restrictions, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said at a press conference.

Mao denounced these actions as blatantly interfering in China’s internal affairs and violating international law and the basic norms governing international relations.

China is strongly dissatisfied and strongly opposes it.
