“We have a stable economy, and we appreciate the IDB’s confidence in Bolivia’s economic performance. We grow by redistributing, reducing poverty and inequalities, closing gaps between the rich and the poor (…),” the dignitary wrote on social networks and stressed that this way the national government takes care of stability as the people’s heritage.
The meeting with the IDB board took place at the Casa Grande del Pueblo (headquarters of the Executive), where they discussed the economic situation of Bolivia and the results of the MESCP.
Arce stressed that, with this strategy, Bolivia successfully counteracts the international crisis and the “internal sabotage against our economy.”
The IDB board arrived in Bolivia to visit different regions in which it cooperates to see “how projects are carried out to benefit the population,” reported the Minister of Development and Planning, Sergio Cusicanqui.
“We have had the opportunity to exchange some opinions about the country and the economy, in this way, they have been received, and they are visiting various parts of the country where the IDB has intervention and cooperation,” the Minister stressed.
Visitors will verify the implementation and benefits of the projects in which the IDB intervenes and cooperates.
