The event takes place in Havana’s Chinatown and celebrates the 177th anniversary of the Chinese presence in Cuba.
The expo-fair aims to visualize the work of Chinese entrepreneurs in this country, their products and services, to promote Cuban businesses, Dalgis Chaviano, cultural promoter of Havana’s Chinatown, informed.
Chaviano said that we want to create commercial ties between both nations, so we promote the exhibition and sale of products and presentations of Cuban and foreign offers, projects, and services.
Among them is Nihao53, an online wholesale store managed by Leke Holding Group.
Other participants are Cuban micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), such as Deshidratados Habana; the Sedavid project, which works with silk produced in Cuba by the Experimental Center of Pastures and Fodder in Indio Hatuey, western Matanzas province; the Glifos printing and design service, and the Parranda S.A. brewery.
Chaviano said the event includes a children’s party on Children’s Day and a mahjong (traditional Chinese board game) championship.
