The sextet will delight audiences with a varied program that includes classical and contemporary Cuban and Latin American pieces, such as “La Bayamesa” and “Santa Cecilia,” among others.
Directed by pianist Liana Fernandez, Consixtencia enjoys a big success thanks to a mixture of styles that appeal to classical and popular music lovers.
Keyboardist and producer Alioth Gonzalez, percussionist Jesus Estrada, bass player Ernesto Elias, pianist Ernesto Oliva, and Cuban-American violinist Jaime Jorge are expected to perform.
Singer Samantha Correa, violinist Gabriela Gonzalez, choir and orchestra conductor Alberto Nuñez, and the ensembles from the Paulita Concepción and Guillermo Tomás elementary music schools will perform as guest artists.
The audience will enjoy once again the melodies of Consixtencia as a sort of gift to Maestro Frank Fernandez, who won the Grand Prize at the recently concluded 27th edition of the International Music Industry Fair, Cubadisco 2024, for his album “Beethoven. Conciertos para piano” (Beethoven. Concerts for Piano).
