According to the diplomat, who spoke on the TVC channel, “The Russian leader’s trip marked a perspective for the future: not for one year, not for two, not for three. These are decisive steps that will determine the future not only of our region but of the entire planet.”

The spokeswoman stressed that the direction of relations between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China is shared as an alternative by most countries globally.

Earlier, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had said that Putin’s visit to China confirmed the quality of comprehensive partnership relations between the two countries.

According to the foreign minister, relations between Moscow and Beijing have maintained international security and balanced global development.
