According to the Syrian Presidency, Al-Assad met with the crown prince and prime minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, with whom he discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, in addition to promoting cooperation and contributing to the stability of the region.
President Al-Assad stressed the need to develop cooperation and coordination mechanisms between Arab nations, in turn, Bin Salman urged to strengthen dialogue between the two countries and highlighted the importance of Syria’s return to the Arab stage.
The Syrian president also met with the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Bin Salman Al-Khalifa, with whom he discussed the best ways to promote relations between Arab states, to serve the interests and hopes of their peoples.
Al-Assad highlighted the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain for the success of the Summit and to strengthen Arab ties.
Bin Salman Al-Khalifa underlined Bahrain’s interest in the recovery of Syria’s well-being and stability.
A bilateral meeting was also held between the Syrian president and his Iraqi counterpart, Abdul Latif Rashid, who addressed cooperation, especially in the economic field and the fight against terrorism, in addition to coordination at a political level.
