Supreme People’s Court (TSP) First Vice President Maricela Sosa stated that operators of the judicial systems of Laos, El Salvador, China, Namibia, Mozambique, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, among other countries, are participating in the forum.
Quoted by the Cuban News Agency (AIN), Sosa explained that the meeting is taking place in person at the Havana-based Conference Center until May 17 and online with specialists interested in developing the debates.
The event addresses issues related to the aging population, legality and impartiality of judges in the administration of justice and the interpretation of the Law, family, civil, and administrative issues, and the response to domestic and gender violence.
Cuba’s legal operators will share their experiences on digitalizing the People’s Court system and implementing the new legislation, following the approval of the Constitution of the Republic in 2019.
