The CEN said at a press briefing that the voting will take place from 9:00 to 15:00 hours, local time, in the western province of Matanzas, central Villa Clara and Cienfuegos, and eastern Santiago de Cuba.
The Cuban Council of State approved this election on April 5, following the provisions of the Constitution and Law No. 127, the Electoral Law, approved on July 13, 2019.
According to the latter, the election of the provincial governors and vice governors is held on the same day and at the same time nationwide, on the date established by the Council of State.
