In a statement, CTA-A recalled that ‘Israel killed over 34,000 Palestinians, half of them children and women, in the Gaza Strip’, and praised demonstrations held around the world and at the U.S. universities against those crimes.
The CTA-A further condemned that the U.S. Government’s response to the youth protest movement was militarization, repression and mass arrests of students and professors.
In over 60 universities, peaceful rallies have been taking place for weeks to demand an end to the genocide, an end to military aid to Israel and the financial disengagement of schools from Israeli companies, the text points out.
