USA: Young voters to decide to vote for independent or third party

Washington, May 3 (Prensa Latina) Many young American voters are today thinking of supporting independent or third party candidates for upcoming November 2024 elections because they are mad at both President Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

They are showing, above all, their strong rejection of President Biden’s management about Israel’s war over Hamas in Gaza.

Young American people, who generally speaking had already expressed their dissatisfaction with Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump, are increasingly critical of what is currently going on in Gaza.

The situation led to mass protests two weeks ago at U.S. universities at a politically complicated time for Joe Biden who is seeking for re-election.

According to a group of Wisconsin college students, former President Donald Trump would do no better (or even worse) on the issue than Joe Biden.

On the whole, the American students saw recent protests as a useful tool to shed light on the Israel-Hamas war, while at the same time putting some pressure on schools and the White House.

While November 5 is drawing near, polls show an advantage for Trump over Biden ahead of an eventual rematch.

Meanwhile, on the national scene, more and more people are eligible to vote against the Republican and Democratic Parties in a climate of distrust towards the political forces that traditionally alternate the Oval Office.
