According to organizers, this year’s edition expects more than 30,000 spectators, around 512 companies from the sector and some 39 countries as exhibitors.
As part of the event, participants will meet in forums, presentations, lectures and other activities that will be broadcast live on the official website of the exhibition with more than three million visits.
According to Cuban diplomatic sources, this is the second time that Cuba participates in the MITE, on this occasion with an 18-square-meter stand that will promote the Cuba Unica campaign, launched in China last year at this same fair.
Cuba’s Tourism Advisor for Asia, Elizabeth Cristina Vela, explained that other objectives are to promote the Caribbean island as a safe health destination and its representative products, explore business opportunities in the southern Chinese market and learn more about the interests of Chinese clients.
