The foreign minister of the Plurinational State of Bolivia will pay an official visit to Russia on April 26 and 27, and on April 26, she will hold talks with the Russian foreign minister, Zakharova told reporters on Thursday.

The two foreign ministers will discuss the state and prospects for the development of bilateral ties, political issues, ways to expand cooperation in various fields and the improvement of the legal and contractual basis.

Special attention will be paid on examining the possibilities of further increasing bilateral interaction on the world scenario, Zakharova remarked.

The last meeting between Lavrov and Sosa took place on February 21 on the sidelines of the G-20 meeting of foreign ministers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
